An effervescent weekend marked the 14th edition of the RO-Wine autumn edition
On October 15 and 16, 150 wine producers met at Fratelli Studios Bucharest, bringing Premium and superpremium wines from Romania and all over the world. The Festival welcomed its over 6,000 visitors with an exclusive selection of sparkling wines from Champagne, Prosecco sparklings, organic and biodynamic wines, accompanied by gourmet products, craft beer and specialty coffee..
Wines from all over the world and prominent personalities from the wine world
Wines from Romania, Moldova, Italy, France, Spain, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, the USA, Georgia and Portugal were represented at Ro Wine by the wineries’ owners or oenologist.
Among them, the famous Italian journalist and TV personality Bruno Vespa (whose show is nicknamed "the third chamber of Parliament" in Italy), which presented its wines both at their booth, and in the"Primitivo – The King of Puglia" masterclass.
The Festival enjoyed an impressive number of visitors, for whom approximately 10,000 bottles were opened in the two tasting rooms, but also during Masterclasses.
The wine-food pairing was delightful
’Cantine de Nicolai’ delighted the audience with bacon and beef pate brought from Maramures, croissants and hot bread. Along with the local HoReCa market representatives, the Festival welcomed wine importers from Canada, Spain, England and Holland, along with visitors from all over the country and from abroad, coming especially for RO-Wine.
Wine and music together complete an art work
Among artworks and precious labels, the participants had the pleasure of discovering more than 800 wines.
At closing time, an extra sip of joy was brought by the live moment by saxophonist Daniel Puccio, who came specially from the United States to celebrate the closing of the 2022 wine events season.
