Maria-Olguta Petre, 38, has lived in the UK for 7 years and has been studying viticulture and Oenology since 2021 at Plumpton College in Sussex. Passionate about art, travel, literature, film, good food, and obviously wine. When asked “What is your favourite wine?” she always answers: “It depends on the context, the company, and the emood. Generally red, French, Romanian or Eastern European wine, spicy, fruity, complex, a little tannic, telling a story." She is always excited to talk about Romanian culture and Romanian wines and supports the efforts of wine producers in Romania, even if her everyday life maeans participatind in the production of English sparkling wine, starting from the vineyard.
