Busuioaca de Bohotin is a grape variety that tells its own story, even to those who are too little passionate about history. Almost extinct before 1990, reborn with the replantings of the 2000s and in full swing today, when it begins to be planted in places other than its native Moldova, Busuioaca cannot go unnoticed.
Full of flavors (it is, however, a grape from the Muscaturi family), expressive in any variant, from dry to sweet, very good and fresh, and after a few years of ageing, it can give rise to wines capable of surprising even the most sophisticated tastes.
Produced by Averești Domains – where the largest area planted with this variety is found, this wine is present in the #DeschidemVinulRomânesc program, in the category #Exclusiv.
