The organizers of RO-Wine, The International Wine Festival of Romania, announce the largest show so far, with over 2,000 labels, and a masterclass schedule filled with best Champagnes, 100 point wines and top a Bordeaux selection. The festival will take place this weekend, May 24-26, Friday 14.00 to 20.00, Saturday and Sunday – 12.00 to 20.00h.

A Sparkling Spring Edition @ RO-WINE Festival: May 24-26 at Fratelli Studios, Bucharest
With 2,000 exclusive wines from 15 countries, tastings of collectible Champagnes, exceptional masterclasses including one featuring 100-point Parker wines and another on olive oil quality, RO-WINE brings a series of unique events to Bucharest this spring.
Collectible Champagnes and 100-Point Wines at RO-Wine
Renowned wine personalities will present visitors with iconic labels of wines that have garnered high praise from specialist juries and wine lovers alike.
Marinela Ardelean, Dame Chevalier de L’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, will host two tastings of collectible Champagnes, including Dom Perignon Millésime 1983 and Piper-Heidsieck Rare Millésime 2008. Friday evening is dedicated to a unique opportunity to taste remarkable wines from France, the USA, Chile, and Argentina, all of which have been rated 100 points by some of the world’s most important wine critics, Robert Parker and James Suckling.
On Saturday, you’ll be impressed by a carefully curated collection of top Bordeaux wines, representing some of the most important appellations of this controlled designation of origin: Pauillac, Margaux, Pomerol, Saint-Estèphe, St. Emilion, and others, presented by Melissa Maslon, Export Manager CVBG Bordeaux.
Since the history and culture of wine and that of olive oil are closely intertwined, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will organize a masterclass where participants will have the chance to differentiate and appreciate the attributes of authentic, high-quality olive oil. The presentation will be given by Edoardo Nati from UNAPROL, an association that brings together over 100,000 high-quality olive oil producers.
RO-Wine Bucharest: Themed Areas Over a 5000 Square Meter Space
RO-Wine Bucharest will take place over a generous 5000 sqm area, offering visitors a unique and memorable experience in Romania. The event will include several themed areas dedicated to various aspects of wine and gastronomy.
- Studio 1: Premium Wines from Romania and Moldova
Over 50 premium wine producers from Romania and Moldova will present their wines in the main hall of the venue. This area is perfect for discovering a variety of top-quality Romanian and Moldovan wines.
- Studio 2: A Culinary Journey Through Italy
In a story-like atmosphere, lovers of Italian enogastronomic products will be able to discover wines and gourmet products, presented in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE). Get ready to enjoy the authentic flavors and tastes of Italy!
- Studio 3: An Extraordinary Selection of International Wines
Inaugurated last year and dedicated exclusively to imported wines, this area will feature 16 importers offering visitors an extraordinary selection of international wines, some presented for the first time in Romania. This area is perfect for those who wish to explore wines from various regions of the world.
- Masterclass Area: Discover the Secrets of Wine
This section will host the RO-Wine masterclasses. Renowned wine experts will guide you through tastings and reveal the secrets of wine.
The entire atmosphere of the event will be complemented by the garden and terrace of the venue, where live cooking sessions, VIP experiences, and networking sessions will take place.
Gourmet and Culinary Delights from Macromex
Macromex, the partner of the RO-Wine festival, has specially prepared several exceptional gourmet delights for this weekend. In a generous space that will include 5 exhibition stands, visitors will be able to discover menus adapted for HoReCa locations, and live cooking sessions conducted by 4 exceptional chefs.
The gourmet selection will be complemented by specialty coffee from Constantin Coffee, thus offering participants a complete enogastronomic journey.
