Located in the eastern part of the Dealu Mare wine region, Crama DeMatei emerged by acquiring the Prince Matei brand and the winery in Zorești by Vintruvian Estates. The winery spans 80 hectares of vineyards, spread across the Tegăneanu and Zorilor hills, where vines over 40 grow.

A distinctive feature of Crama DeMatei is the presence of Fetească Neagră in all the wine ranges produced, including even a variant en blanc of this grape. The most renowned wine ranges of Crama DeMatei are Patima după Matei and Prince Matei, both dedicated to the HoReCa sector. The red wines from the Patima după Matei range require years of maturation in oak barrels and bottles. This slow process guarantees the excellence of the wines, reflecting the winery’s philosophy: great things take time.
