CAII DE LA LETEA
The wine of the Way of Letea was born in the oldest vineyard of Dobrogea, near the hills of Saricia and Niculitel, where the cultivation of vines has millenary roots. Even if the traditional methods of viticulture and grape selection have been preserved, the new winemaking technologies are masterfully handled by the winery’s oenologists to highlight the specific imprint of the terroirs that the winery takes care of in the Dobrogea area.
One of the emblematic varieties of the vineyard is Aligote, a variety that we have grown with passion and skill, and today continues to reward us with a series of awards at renowned international competitions.

Year of establishment: 1958 GAS (State Agricultural Farm) was established. Following the massive plantings from 1962-1968, there was an institutional merger, with the establishment of the IAS, with 1,100 ha in operation. Later, in 1991, through the privatization of the IAS, the current plantation managed today by the Viticola Sarica Niculitel company was established.
