On April 1 and 2, Brasov hosts the Vin la Munte festival and competition, an event dedicated exclusively to wines created for restaurants, specialized stores or collectors. The event will take place at the Qosmo Hotel in Brasov and will feature over 700 wines from 90 wineries in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, Italy, France, Spain, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Austria and other countries with a winemaking tradition.

According to the organizers’ press release, wine lovers will have the opportunity to participate in book launches, official launches of new wineries and new labels, but also to discover the award-winning wines in the contest held on the eve of the festival, in the traditional Vin la Munte competition.

Three masterclasses are also already confirmed:

• The wines of Oltenia, presentation of Justin Urucu portfolio wines, VINALTUS winery;
• Pairing with premium and superpremium cigars, supported by Lerida International;
• Sparkling wine technology, supported by the Petro Vaselo winery

The Vin la Munte festival is organized by Le Sommelier Depot, in partnership with Selgros. The wine competition jury is made up of oenologists, sommeliers, OEVE Knights, journalists and wine bloggers.
