In this Cabernet, one can identify the damp earth, as well as truffles and boletus. A walk in the woods when autumn exhilarates and the fallen leaves form a multicoloured rug. The taste is velvety (wild cherry, spices) and slightly pungent, thanks to the hints of nutmeg and green pepper. The tannins are frank, not necessarily well packed, yet subtle and long structured. The taste is rhythmic, round, full, with a uniform flavour. The body of the wine is lithe and well defined and the aftertaste suggests green and woody notes. If a walk in the forest, with the leaves creaking underneath your feet, had an accompanying wine, this would be it.
