This wine can be considered a business card for Crama Oprișor, but at the same time for Oltenia itself, the region where the grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon come from. Dressed in intense ruby red, it seduces with complex and endless aromas. The nose opens with herbaceous notes that are constantly evolving and remind us of oriental spices, cinnamon, black currants, raspberries, strawberries, dried fruits, licorice, green peppers and black pepper. Its taste is elegant, strong and harmonious, with fresh and velvety tannins. The finish develops vegetable notes, plum and black cherry jam. As it breathes in the glass, it becomes more complex and more balanced, with a slight but fine violets aroma. Like a long-distance running horse that you can bet on with confidence, it is a wine that should be “forgotten” in the cellar for several years.
