Liliac is an innovative company, owned by Alfred Michael Beck, a successful entrepreneur in the real estate and agricultural business milieu in Romania.
In 2010, he made the first purchases for a soon-to-be winery, a few miles from Cluj-Napoca and Târgu Mureş, in Lechinţa and Batoş. Today, the investment is worth over eleven million euros. The tradition as well as a modern approach, particularly designed for producing these wines, have resulted into a noteworthy winery for the connaisseurs. This is a terroir with great potential for the production of white wines, thus the special quality of the red wines comes as a surprise.
The harvesting is made entirely by hand. The varieties hereby cultivated are Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Muscat Ottonel, Neuburger, Traminer, Fetească Neagră, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
