The Iconic Estate, member of Alexandrion Group, is a manufacturer, exporter and selective importer of still and sparkling wines. The company owns production and warehousing facilities, bottling lines, warehouse with controlled temperature and underground cellars. The winery in Tohani, Gura Vadului, is one of the largest cellars from Dealu Mare region, with a processing capacity of 5000 tons per year, being produced approximately 3,6 million litres per year and around 5 million bottles per year.
THE ICONIC ESTATE owns over 255 hectares of vineyards, most of them in one of the most fertile wine regions in Romania, Dealu Mare – a region that provides a significant part of the grapes used to obtain exceptional wines, similar to two famous European wine regions: Piedmont in Italy and Bordeaux in France.
The quality of the wines, the value, the refinement and their distinction make THE ICONIC ESTATE one of the best Romanian wine producers, who have exploited the potential and the wine diversity of the country through their own wines: Rhein Extra, Hyperion, Neptunus, Kronos, Rhea, Theia, Colina Piatra Albă, Byzantium, Prahova Valley, Floare de Lună, Floarea Soarelui, La Umbra, La Crama and others.
Over the years, brands from THE ICONIC ESTATE portfolio have been awarded at important national and international competitions such as: International Wine Contest Bucharest, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, International Wine Challenge or Decanter World Wine Awards.
The Rhein & CIE Azuga Cellars, part of THE ICONIC ESTATE, are the oldest place where it is produced, without interruption since its establishment (1892) and until now, the sparkling wine following a traditional method in France. The Royal House of Romania appreciates the wines from our cellars for their superior quality, naming THE ICONIC ESTATE the official supplier for the still and sparkling wines.
