The story of wine begins many thousands of years ago, with a love story between our ancestors and the Wild Vine (Vitis Sylvestris). As in all love, closeness is essential, and the Vine had to adapt closer to man, closer to the Sun. Its vines became sweeter and bigger, favouring the “birth” of Wine.
Handed down from generation to generation, the craft of wine-making has been perfected to become an art, through various working methods, or more recently through technology.
Our story was born out of love for the Creator and creation. Traditions being the bridge, we try to unravel them by stepping through the past to the Origins, so that the activities of cultivation of the land and the Vine are more rudimentary. The horse helps us to work the land, the bunches of grapes we pick by hand, the grapes we process with wooden tools, we make a living and unique liquor: JUGRESTAN Wine.
