The F’AUTOR family company was founded at the end of the 20th century. Its path from the beginning to the present day has been marked by performances and distinctions, and its success story is based on the experience and enthusiasm of family members as well as the winemaker’s talent. Between 2003 and 2006 advanced technologies were implemented and vine cuttings were planted, so today’s F’AUTOR vineyards cover an area of about 350 hectares. Both the winery and the plantations are located in the Tigheci microzone, being part of the Valul lui Traian wine-growing area, in the south of the Republic of Moldova. The Tigheci microzone is truly unique, being very successful in producing both white and red quality wines.
The name F’AUTOR draws its origin from Latin, the word „creator, author“ bearing the significance of maximum responsibility for quality and the personal approach of the winemaker.
