One of the small wineries in Southern Moldova recently surprised its audience with its constant quality of wines, from white wines with a beautiful evolution over time, to red wines – intense and full of structure.
The Davidescu family entered the world of wine two generations ago, when the founders, Ilie and Parascovia Davidescu, planted 18 hectares of vineyards in Chioselia Mare. Their passion was passed on to the their son, Vladimir, taking over the family business and passing it on to the grandchildren – Andrian and Elena.
The 18 hectares of the vineyard are planted with Sauvignon blanc, Viorica, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Aligote, Muscat Ottonel, Rară Neagră, Fetească Neagră, Malbec and Saperavi.
