Deep ruby-red, with violet hues. Complex, multi-layered nose, with smoked prunes, strawberry jam, blackberry jam, chocolate, spices and tobacco. Still young taste, with a lively acidity, soft and velvety tannins and dominant notes of well-ripened berries, bitter cherries and sour cherries. The medium finish is still developing, showing that the wine is likely to peak around 2023.
