Intense ruby red, with bright hues. Aromas of overripe fruit, cherries and plums, licorice, red pepper, cocoa and hay. An athletic body, with sharp tannins and an noticeable acidity. The taste is warm and complex, dominated by fruity notes, with light herbaceous hints. Alcohol has still a (short) way to go until full integration, but wine is, on the whole, friendly and very suitable for food pairings.
