With this wine, my love story with Romania’s wines has begun, years ago, turning into a long journey that becomes more and more interesting every day.
A gentle wine, with an inviting ruby red, rich and compact, revealing intense, clean and, refined aromas that begin with hints of plums, black cherries, red berries, currants, and wild strawberries, then showing tobacco, dried tomatoes, light tar, cinnamon, and smoky puffs.
On the palate, initially tensed, it becomes complex, involving, gritty, with personality, definitely in line with the olfactory picture. Rich extract, but elegant and refined tannin texture, well melted to support the acid-sapid sensation that envelops and condenses the structure.
