Deep cherry red with purple hues. Aromas of well-ripened fruit – cherries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, mushroom and mineral / earthy notes which, together with the rather slender body, are somewhat reminiscent of a Pinot Noir. Well balanced acidity, with a medium to long finish, with a still young mouthfeel. A wine that shows quite clearly why it is worth keeping a vineyard almost 60 years old.
