Intense, crystalline and bright rose pink. Generous nose, with hints of sweet and freshly riped strawberries, raspberries and wild strawberries, along with slightly vegetal notes. The taste is dominated by forrest berries, with accents of pink grapefruit and red currants. Medium structure and body. Fine, thick and persistent perlage that shows the wine to be a rather sparkling wine than frizzante – the only reason for which it does not earn its fifth star. In other words, buyers receive more than they asked for but, according to the market laws, they should receive what they ask for… Anyway, an excellent, memorable wine, with a fruity, fresh and reverberant finish, excellent drinkability, genuineness and that rustic air acquired both from the organic methods used by the producer and from the grape’s natural expression.
