Modesty and excellence
The grapevines of Arad county are gathered, almost exclusively along the Miniş-Măderat vineyard, one of the oldest in Romania, certified from the very first half of the XIth century. The vineyard has two main centers: Miniş (to the South) and Măderat (to the North).
The reds are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Fetească Neagră, Pinot Noir, and Burgund Mare. All of them are vividly colored and acidic. The whites are Fetească Regală, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, and Muscat Ottonel.
Elite Wine, a private company with Romanian-Austrian capital, is located in the Northside of the Miniş-Măderat vine. Its brands – Elite and Roberto – are sold directly within the premises, online, in wine outlets, and through the HoReCa system. The Elite wines have competed nationally and internationally, presenting a level of quality well acknowledged by specialists. The Merlot has won the Golden Medal of the Vinvest Timişoara 2008 edition and not only.
