Dan Muntean is one of the few people in Romanian wine who can boast over three decades of success. After contributing to the birth of some of the most important wine companies after 1990, Dan Muntean founded, at the beginning of 2017, the Domain that bears his name.
The vineyard does not yet have a final structure, the acquisition procedure for 70 hectares of vineyards in Dealu Mare being still in progress, but the total investment is estimated at 2.5 million euros. However, the domain has already made a name for its own on the market, after launching, more than three years ago, its “Fairy” brands Zâna Purpurie (Purple Fairy – Cabernet Sauvignon), Zâna Verde (Green Fairy – Sauvignon Blanc) and Zâna Roză (Pink Fairy – Merlot).
